PEMBROKE, GA The Bryan County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a proposed amendment to Section 114-511 "Authorized uses in residential districts" and 114-512, "Residential district use conditions," of the Bryan County Unified Development Ordinance. The purpose of the hearing is to solicit comments from residents and property owners regarding the proposed change, which would allow chickens in the "R-15" zoning district, subject to certain conditions. All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Hearing to be held on May 12, 2026, at 5:30 P.M. in the Commissioner Meeting Room, 42 N. Courthouse St., Pembroke, GA.
