NOTICE OF SEIZURE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY VALUED AT LESS THAN $25,000.00 Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Sec. 9-16-11 and 16-13-49, any person claiming an interest in the following property is hereby notified that on May 15, 2026, said property was seized by officers of the Hinesville Police Department from Jessica Marissa Nesbitt: One Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars($1,549.00) in U.S. Currency, a Ruger Max 9mm (Serial # 350208060), and two (2) Apple iPhones. The conduct giving rise to said seizure was as follows: On May 15, 2026, at 740 Strickland Road, Lot 6, Hinesville in Liberty County, Georgia, said property was used or intended for use to facilitate a violation of O.C.G.A. Sections 16-13-30(a)(b)(j) and 16-13-49 and/or was proceeds derived or realized there from. You are further notified that the owner or interest holder of said property has thirty (30) days within which to file a claim by sending the claim by certified mail or statutory overnight delivery, return receipt requested, to the District Attorney at the address shown below and such claim shall be signed by the owner or interest holder and shall provide the following: (A) The name of the claimant; (B) the address of which the claimant resides; (C) a description of the claimant's interest in the property; (D) a description of the circumstances of the claimant's obtaining an interest in the property and to the best of the claimant's knowledge, the date the claimant obtained the interest and the name of the person or entity that transferred the interest to the claimant; (E) The nature of the relationship between the claimant and the person who possessed the property at the time of the seizure; (F) A copy of any documentation in the claimant's possession supporting his or her claim; and (G) Any additional facts supporting his or her claim.
